Landlord-Tenant Resources

Many of us have rented an appartment or house at some point or another in our lives; generally, this is an equitable alternative to being a homeownwer, but they both have their own set of advantages and disadvantages. The most common type of tenancy is a “Month-to-Month”, which usually involves a “Rental Agreement” between the Landlord and Tenant(s). Other forms of tenancies are for longer periods, one year or more, these generally involve a “Lease” agreement; both have their distinctive advantages and disadvantages, conditions/terms, or even legal procedures that outline the duties and responsibilities of both the Landlord and Tenant(s).

Although the terms “Rental Agreement” and “Lease” are often considered interchangable, there are differences between them...
